Glenn Beck Slams Common Core

On Glenn Beck’s show today, two Utah teachers, David Cox and Christel Swasey, joined Emmett McGroarty of the American Principles Project and Sherena Arrington in a discussion about Common Core State Standards. The show was excellent and if you would like to watch the entire show, sign up for a free two week trial on Glenn’s website and look for the episode from today (3-14-2013). Here’s a few clips from the show.

  1. Oak what can we do if we can’t afford private schools for our children and we have to work so homeschooling is not an option for us either? I would love to take my kids out of public school but I see no options for me either.

  2. This well help parents to understand what is happening from “Kto20” in school, college systems. For some who our teachers and think it is good, you the teacher need to watch this and learn the truth as well.

  3. I also saw this program. Great program. No sensationalism or propaganda. Just the facts. You decide for yourself whether or not you want your kids indoctrinated by the Obama regime.

  4. This was an excellent program. Too many times we turn a blind eye to what is taking place in our country and our schools. However, it is too important to continue to do so. Our children’s future and our nation’s future may depend totally on the stance we take right now about the education our children receive. Please take the time to become informed about this issue and make some noise on the local level. The local level is the first line of defense and where you truly have the most impact on that takes place.

  5. Great job Crystal! Just awesome! Thanks for your continued support of ridding ourselves of this horrific program. Thanks very much. Mattie

  6. Thank you so much for appearing on Glenn Beck’s Show and educating the rest of us! It was a most informative program. Please let me know if there is anything I might do to help. I am basically a “stay-at-home” grandmother who cares for our disabled son 24/7, but very interested in helping however I can.

  7. In addition to the excellent videos David Cox posted here, I recommend watching this one by Professor Christopher Tienken of Seton Hall University in New Jersey. This video is made by the same professor who wrote the book that I plugged on Glenn Beck, “The School Reform Landscape: Myth, Fraud and Lies.” It is very engaging and makes such important points.
