This bill sets a dangerous precedent to the role of education. I like that it makes the extended hours optional and I like that it does not cost taxpayers. I do not like that it enables children to spend more time in school. I believe that it weakens families and enables parents to spend less time with their children and not take responsibility for educating and caring for their children.
